Overview
Our Dibba Plantation Camp is located in the south-east corner of the Omani Musandam governorate, close to the beach and mountains so that all activities require little or no transfer time. Activities include trekking, mountain biking, survival, archery, orienteering, rock climbing, abseiling, bouldering, Tyrolean Traverse, deep water soloing, and weaseling. Water activities can include raft building, sea kayaking, snorkeling, dhow cruises and scuba diving.
Our Plantation Camp is set within a working date farm. The camp has a traditional feel to it with large tented and barasti majlis areas, lanterns, steel framed Bedouin style tents and a fire pit. Students sleep on bunkbeds in these tents; all rooms have a ceiling fan, power outlets and lights. All food is prepared and served from the professional kitchen at the camp.
The Plantation camp is located on it’s own land with a perimeter secutiy fence. There are enough beds to sleep over 130 students and plenty of room around the camp to not feel crowded. Accommodation is divided into single sex areas with teacher tents separating the two areas . Bathroom blocks have hot water and are a 20 second walk from the sleeping tents.
Looking to stay at a hotel rather than the school camp? Accommodation is also available at the Dibba beach resort in Dibba.
